Styling With Sophie: Holiday Parties

Here is a new styling post for you guys! I have put together four more formal holiday outfits with everything from Urban Outfitters this time.

Outfit 1:

You may have seen this dress before (in my choir concert outfit video), and I really love how metallic it is! I paired this dress with loud earrings (but ones that didn't compete with the shine of the dress) and low profile booties. You can complete the outfit with a pair of simple patterned tights (as shown above) or with plain black tights.

Outfit 2:

This outfit features a simple velvet romper. I picked a pair of heels to go with this outfit, but the twist is that I would wear them with some dark socks (and some tights under it all too). I finished off the look with big gold hoop earrings to compliment the warm tone of the romper.

Outfit 3:

I fell in love with the color of this jumpsuit as I was scrolling through the Urban Outfitters website. This one could be paired with some heels, but sometimes - for me at least - store bought jumpsuits can be a little short at the ankles, so I opted for some classic loafers. I really wanted the jumpsuit to be the highlight of the outfit, so I simply paired it with a clutch wallet and simple hair accessory. Sometimes a little can go a long way!

Outfit 4:

This outfit is a little more light-hearted. I paired another slip dress with a mock neck, long sleeve, fitted shirt (this is one of my favorite combinations). I added a scrunchy to play up the fun of this outfit while adding some edge with this ear climber piece. I left the shoes open to three possibilities: some easy strapped heels, some grey booties, or some over-the-knee boots. I love each of these options! I would finish each look off with some tights - patterned tights would be fun here!

Outfit 5:

This outfit is geared toward those who might be spending the holidays in a warmer climate. This body-suit/short combo is light and carefree. The necklace adds an element of elegance and the shoes also add interest to the outfit.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post (these are so fun to pull together)! Let me know which was your favorite! The best part about these is that these can all be mismatched with other pieces that you may already have. See you tomorrow!
